GJS-BF072
GJS-BF072
Main cable ports are positioned on opposite sides of the enclosure to support straight-through feeder routing, mid-span access and branch distribution with a clear internal cable path.
Cable fixation, strength-member retention, fiber splicing, slack storage, adapter termination and optional PLC splitting are combined in one enclosure to simplify outdoor network deployment.
The bolted housing and rubber grommet sealing system allow the closure to be opened and resealed for maintenance, capacity expansion and subscriber connection without heat-shrink tools or an open flame.
Dedicated routing, storage, splicing and connector areas help maintain the minimum fiber bend radius and reduce disturbance to active circuits during installation or maintenance.
The reinforced PP housing and ABS internal components provide mechanical strength and dimensional stability for demanding outdoor applications. The enclosure is designed to meet IP68 ingress-protection requirements, subject to final product validation.

The GJS-BF072 is a flat inline fiber optic splice and distribution closure for FTTx access networks. It combines fiber splicing, mid-span access, cable branching, optional optical splitting and connectorized subscriber distribution in one enclosure.
The main cable ports are positioned on opposite sides of the enclosure, allowing the feeder cable to enter one side and exit the other. Independent branch and drop cable ports provide distribution connections along the feeder route.
Yes. The opposed feeder ports and modular sealing assembly support installation around an uncut feeder cable. This allows technicians to access selected fibers for branching or splicing while leaving the remaining fibers uncut.
The GJS-BF072 accommodates up to 72 single-fiber splices across three splice trays, with up to 24 splices per tray.
The closure provides two inline mid-span ports for feeder cables with an outside diameter of Ø 7.5–15 mm, two additional PG16 cable glands, and eight drop cable ports for Ø 6–8 mm cables. Please confirm the cable diameter range of the supplied PG16 glands when selecting your configuration.
Yes. The closure supports up to eight SC adapters, with SC/APC as the standard configuration and SC/UPC available as an option. A 1×8 Micro PLC splitter configuration is also available; please confirm the splitter quantity and arrangement for your order.
Yes. The bolted housing and re-enterable mechanical sealing system allow the closure to be opened for maintenance, additional splicing or subscriber connections. Sealing surfaces and components should be inspected and correctly reassembled whenever the closure is reopened.
No. The cable entries use mechanical sealing with rubber grommets, so heat-shrink tools and an open flame are not required for cable sealing.
A dedicated internal parking position holds unused SC/APC connectors and keeps them organized. Keeping the connector dust caps fitted helps protect the ferrules from contamination before connection.
The closure is intended for aerial, pole and wall installations. Underground use is subject to qualification of the final enclosure and installation configuration. Confirm the required mounting accessories and site conditions before ordering.
IP68 is the current design target. The final ingress-protection rating must be confirmed through testing of the production enclosure. Please request the applicable test documentation before specifying the product for applications that require a verified IP68 rating.
Please provide the feeder and drop cable diameters, required splice capacity, SC adapter type and quantity, PLC splitter requirements, installation method and mounting accessory needs. These details help determine the appropriate product configuration.
