The FAT closure incorporates hardened adapters and are fully OptiTap compatible with advantages of less cost and faster deployment at the user access point in fiber optic network.
The hardened connectors would be factory-terminated and sealed. Plug-and-play adapter ports helps to save installation time and labor cost instead of opening the closure and splicing the optical fiber in the field in future.
