Pre-installed Configuration 

Typically, the FST-12SP-043 splice trays are not sold as standalone units but are pre-installed as standard accessories within our Fiber Optic Splice Closures or Distribution Boxes.

Q: What does the "2M" in the model name stand for?

A: "2M" stands for "2 Modules." The tray features two independent slots, allowing you to mix and match different functional modules (Splicing or Splitting) based on your specific project needs.

Q: Can I change the configuration after installation?

A: Yes. The tool-less modular design allows you to swap a splice module for a splitter module (or vice-versa) on-site as your network evolves from a standard link to a PON/FTTH architecture.

Q: Is it compatible with standard closures?

A: It is designed to fit our GJS and FDB series. However, since modular trays are slightly thicker ($12\text{mm}$) than standard trays, we recommend confirming the internal clearance of your specific closure or distribution box before bulk ordering.

Q: How many splitters can one tray hold?

A: You can install up to two Micro PLC splitters (one in each slot). Alternatively, you can have one slot for splicing (up to 12 FO) and the other for a splitter.
