In the deployment of FTTx networks, the fiber optic splice closure is the most critical line of defense. While passive, its role in protecting delicate glass fibers from moisture, dust, and mechanical stress is vital. At Fibermint, we don’t just manufacture boxes; we engineer reliability.
Most field failures occur because of poor material aging. In the Fibermint factory, we exclusively use high-strength engineering plastics (modified Polypropylene, PC, ABS, PC+ABS, etc...) mixed with UV-resistant additives.

This ensures that our closures can withstand 20+ years of exposure to intense sunlight, underground chemicals, and extreme temperature fluctuations from -40°C to +65°C without cracking or deforming.
Water ingress is the #1 enemy of fiber signal integrity. Our production line includes a multi-stage sealing validation process. Each batch undergoes:
Air Pressure Testing: Ensuring the closure maintains internal pressure under simulation.
Water Immersion: Submerging the product to verify IP68 waterproof performance.

Whether its a heat-shrink seal or a mechanical seal, Fibermints R&D team provides modular designs that accommodate different cable diameters and splice tray capacities. We understand that every region has different installation habits, and our factory is equipped to tailor solutions for specific project requirements.
Quality is not an accident; it is the result of rigorous engineering. When you choose Fibermint, you are investing in a network infrastructure that is built to last.
