The optical switch box of the access backbone layer should be set at the intersection of the main road or street, so as to facilitate the extension and coverage of the optical cable to the distribution layer; the capacity of the optical switch box should be comprehensively considered according to the network level and business needs. The fiber distribution box should be mainly 576 cores; for the existing small-capacity optical distribution box (below 288 cores), if it cannot meet the business needs, it should be expanded, and if it cannot be expanded, a large-capacity optical distribution box should be used instead.

The height of the base can be determined according to the terrain of each region. Generally, the height of rainproof is 300mm. 4. The distance between the base of the handover box and the manhole and hand hole is generally required not to exceed 10 meters, but it must be required to lay galvanized steel pipes or plastic pipes, and small passages shall not be used. 5. Foundation pouring of the handover box: The foundation of the handover box is required to be a concrete foundation with a thickness of 10cm and 150#, and the sundries should be cleaned before pouring the foundation. 6. Brick masonry for the foundation of the junction box: the masonry is made of 100# mortar, and the mortar saturation of the brick masonry is not less than 80%. The surrounding corners, bottom edges and windows need to be painted with eight characters, and the width of the wall is 24cm. 7. The base mortar plastering surface: the mortar with the label of 100# is generally used for plastering without special circumstances. The thickness of the inner plastering reaches 1.5cm, and the thickness of the outer plastering reaches 2cm. No hollow, no flying spurs, no breakage. If there are special circumstances such as flooding around the well, it is necessary to increase the cement label and thicken the outer batch or add a leak-proof agent. 8. Pre-embedded iron in the base: The specifications and positions of the nails conform to the design regulations. There are pre-cast anchor screws (bolts M12X30) on the four corners of the base of the junction box to fix the junction box. And reserve a rectangular hole (822mm×622mm) in the center of the base as the entrance and exit of the optical cable. 9. The contact between the transfer box and the base should be wiped with "eight-character gray" to prevent water from entering.
