In addition, in terms of cable prices, the two also have differences. The price of communication optical cable splice box is higher than that of optical cable terminal box. The price of 24 new optical cable terminal boxes on the market is around 30 yuan, while the price of optical cable splice boxes ranges from 40 to 50 yuan. The fundamental reason is that the optical cable splice box belongs to the equipment that is connected on all sides. When dealing with emergency optical cables, it is necessary to finely connect the optical cables on both sides. However, the optical cable terminal box only needs to weld the inner cable core in the reel. It saves a lot of work in optical cable fusion, and the price will naturally be lower than that of the splice box.
